This started with a pile of shoes and the shipping box from a couch.

Four days later, on my living room floor with a knife and a ruler, I had a shelf. It fit exactly where I needed it, made entirely from material that was already there. That shelf is still standing.

The next twelve months were spent turning that into something repeatable. The result is RELF.

Every unit is made entirely from bicycle boxes — sourced from Melbourne bike shops. This cardboard is the structure and the packaging; flat-packed and assembled without tools. Each unit carries its own markings and history, that variation is part of what you receive.

I work out of Richmond, making in small batches, limited box supply and the size of my spare room.
